Thank you for visiting our site. Church life has changed because of the coronavirus pandemic, but we’re still here and open to meet the needs of our local community.

At present the Church is open for public worship on Sundays.  We do this Covid-19 safely, and numbers are restricted and you have to book a place.  However there are 4 Sunday services to allow as many as possible to attend.

  • A 30-minute service of Morning Worship is repeated four times each Sunday at 8:45 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:15 AM and 12:30 PM.
  • We announce each Friday whether the church is open for worship on Sunday.
  • You can subscribe HERE to receive an e-mail notification about Sunday worship. The email will let you know the services times and how to book.
  • Each Sunday the service is streamed online. You can view the current and all other previous services HERE.
  • At present we have some weekly activities taking place online. See the NEWS page for details and the ONLINE page for more information.

Here are five things you need to know if you're visiting for the first time:

1. You are welcome to come...

An email is sent on Fridays to all on the circulation list announcing whether our public services of worship will be held live on Sunday.

3. We meet on Meadows Avenue...

We meet on Meadows Avenue in Thornton (FY5 2TW). Our nearest landmark is Marsh Mill, Thornton. We’re quite near Morrisons Cleveleys too.

Our buildings are wheelchair and pushchair friendly – no steps! We have disabled toilets, baby changing and a loop system.
