Weekly News on Thursday 11 August 2022

Dear Church Community,

Hello everyone,

It’s great to be back after a summer holiday. I’m looking forward to our worship together this Sunday, where we will be enjoying the beautiful and hope-filled words from the letter to the Hebrews, which says: ‘let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.’

I’m praying this Sunday we will all be encouraged to look to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.

2023 DAY TRIP TO KESWICK

——————————-

We had a great day last week tasting the Keswick Convention. I’m pleased to announce the coach is booked for next year! It will be on Friday 4th August 2023. This will be a full day out to experience the lovely Lake District Cumbrian town of Keswick and to have a taste of the world-renowned Christian gathering of thousands of Christians for worship and teaching. There’s no need to book at this stage – just keep a note of it in your diary if you’re interested in going.

God bless,

Damian
