Calendar of Events on Monday 8 January 2023

Happy New Year! As we had no weekly news last Friday, this is just a quick email to remind you that community centre activities have resumed this week, highlight a couple of events, and give you a diary of events.

ALPHA SPRING TERM

We had a fantastic time at Alpha last term, with over 20 guests attending each week to explore foundations of Christian faith. One of our guests this term said this: “I’m really enjoying Alpha and appreciate all the hard work and organisation that’s gone into it. I’ve met some lovely people too. Thank you.”

This term, Alpha will run on a Tuesday morning between Playhouse and lunch (11:15 AM – 1:00 PM) from Tuesday 16th January through to the week of Tuesday 30th April with breaks for half-term and Easter. We’ve got 500 postcard invitations to give out, so please do take some to give to family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.

A creche is available if you need childcare during the video. You can book here: christchurchthornton.uk/alpha
